The Big Restart

It's been almost a decade since I first launched the 'Use Your Mac’ web site. My goal at the time was to explain to people coming into the Macintosh world, how to use this marvelous machine and how to take the most out of it.

Years later, things have changed a lot. Evolution to the system, the way it feels, the new spaces, clouds, social media etc., changed our way of living with computers. The Mac ecosystem, always at the edge, looks very different these days than it used to at the time.

That's why I decided to bring this site 'au gout du jour'. I thought it would be better if I razed all down and rebuild the site from scratch. This way, the reader will not have to joggle between old and new. Everything is new.

So, forgive the long 'works in progress'. Enjoy the site, bookmark Use Your Mac and remember to come back often. You will always find here something new and useful! And don't forget:

Use Your Mac And Have A Nice Time!

The New Cool Site For The Mac Is Here!

A new web site for the Mac? Aren't they enough sites out there? Well, yes and no.

There are sites to tell you how to switch on this or that, using the Terminal. There are others to show you how to install that hard to find little piece of Linux software over that core and make it run on X11. And some to whisper to you what will be Apple's next strategic move before the arrival of Vista.

These are good sites, they are full of good information and they have a large audience. But how many sites are they on the web, to tell you about the simple things? Addressed to the real beginning users of the Mac? Very few, if any! That's why we decided to build this one. "UseYourMac.com"

A site for the rest of us!
